Kanye West hasn’t been one for interviewing for quite some time. Since he’s been buddy buddy with Jay-Z and the Knowles-Carter’s have taught him a thing or two about leading a private life, Ye has rarely been seen talking to the media or any kind of press. But every now and again there comes a time when you’ve got to make a statement to protect your brands.
When word started to spread that Kanye had launched a “Dw by Kanye” Twitter page, Ye figured it was the best time to announce all that wasn’t true concerning his clothing line.
First, the fashion line by Kanye isn’t even called “Dw,” it’s name is none other than a self titled one– “Kanye West.” Ye just relays that it was a nice design element to add to the invitations for the Paris Fashion Week launch. He started off on Twitter by saying, “I appreciate everyone’s support for my clothing line but I wanted to clarify a few things…”
He’s been going strong on Twitter in the past hour and is still tweeting all sorts of details about his fashion resume and all that he’s been through in his endeavors to be a real designer, even speaking of times he went fur shopping with his late mother, Donda West.
