The remaining member of Miami Heat’s “Big 3,” Dwayne Wade, is on the cover of Essence’s Februrary 2012 issue with his girlfriend Gabrielle Union. The duo has been dating for quite some time, and it’s gone from three unmarried couples to one married couple, and one engaged (LeBron and Savannah) in their circle of close friends.
Hopefully they’re one of the next couples to prepare to tie the knot, but until then Gabby and D. Wade are happy with their dating situation and choose to open up a little bit more about it in the “Valentine’s” issue of Essence. Dwayne Wade shares their outlook as a couple with the magazine,
“We’re not rushing it. Both of us have been married before, and we understand that if we choose to marry again, we want it to be right. We both took failing at marriage hard. The next time it’s gotta be forever…”It’s nice to see that not everyone is looking to rush in to marriage and values the sanctity of it all.
The pair has been spotted on the beaches of Miami over the Christmas holiday sunning it up with Wade’s boys and their close friends. Now all cleaned up on the cover these two look positively glowing.
